Our European Solidarity Corps Volunteers

This is Egyptian woman Rahma Qader.

The most wonderful ability of all is knowing how to deal with the complexity and beauty of human people and how to help them. I adore music, art, and culture. I enjoy taking pictures of people and lovely moments to memorize the memory of them. I am so mesmerized by dancing because it allows you to express your emotions via your body, without having to speak. I’m really thrilled and thrived to be here and to have the opportunity to meet new people and explore my surroundings, I consider myself so lucky to get the chance to be part of the TDD team.

Üdv!

My name is Károly İstván (you can call me Charlie), İ am 25 years old and İ am from Hungary. İn Hungary İ study law. İ like reading, listening to music (e. g.: İ like rock music including Anatolian rock, alternative rock and indie rock) İ like reading about philosophy, political science and sociology, İ love riding my bike and being in the nature. İ also go frequently to swim (luckily Çanakkale is on the seaside). İ am very excited about the upcoming months, because İ am the new volunteer of TDD till nobember.

Because of my studies İ believe İ have the ability to be a useful member of the team of TDD and for our project. İ am interested in the philosophy of law therefore İ belive everybody should be educated how to live like a legally conscious citizen and how to protect your own rights not just ont he Internet, even in real life.

Nowadays it is critical to know how we can protect our private life because the big companies are invading our private life just because they want us to target with personalized advertisments to buy things that we don’t really really need and also they want you to spend as much time on their surface as its possible. to see as much advertisment as it is possible. According to my views it is critical to improve your digital counsciousness in favor of living a productive life (e.g.: going out with friends, more interaction with family members and relatives, living a healthier and more active life etc.).

Best wishes to everyone:

Charlie

My name is Debora Vezzoli and I’m 26 years old. I come from Brescia, a city in the north of Italy.

I graduated in International relations and I speak 4 languages. I love travelling, discovering different cultures, and tasting their food! In my spare time, I really like to go swimming or do open-air activities, and I also enjoy cooking.

I’m very involved and concerned about sustainability, so I’m conducting a sustainable lifestyle as much as possible, for example growing my own vegetables or buying secondhand clothes.

I am Kristina Stamenova and I am from Macedonia. I am just an ordinary girl who loves art, history, culture, and languages. 👉As a museophile, I started with blogging because I want to share my museum experiences. In my opinion, museums are places where time lays still, they are a sort of time machine that takes us back to our roots, back to our past lives, giving us hope for the future, believing that humanity will survive and that the “powerful play goes on”.

I am a Short term ESC volunteer in Toluma Destek Derneği and İ will stay here for 2 months.
